Dear Mr. Taylor, We wish you a very Happy 100th Birthday! You are an AMAZING man and ROLE MODEL for us all! We have cherished our experiences through these past few years with helping out with your Nacimientos Open House at Christmas time, as well as celebrating your birthdays at the Farm and Ranch Museum and Hotel E!
I also want to THANK YOU for ALL of the years you have followed and encouraged me, personally, throughout my life! I still remember when you were my Principal at Alameda Elementary School when I started 1st grade! You chose MY hand drawn picture of my dachshund, “Toto” and placed it in the window of your office! What an honor that was for me!
You also helped me so much as a teacher and as I work with the NM GRADS Program throughout the years! You helped explain the process and guided my students to speak to legislators and even share their stories with the Legislative Finance Committee at the Roundhouse! Those experiences changed their lives and attitudes about speaking out from that point on.
YOU are and always will be ONE OF THE BEST GOOD GUYS that has helped New Mexico children LIVE, LEARN and LOVE this AMAZING STATE! You have positively impacted sooo many people throughout NM and we THANK YOU!!
