Paul,
What a wonderful 100 years you have had. Although Patsy only
taught for you for three years, she counted those as her most
memorable. We both counted the opportunity to know you as a highlight
of our lives. The attached picture is from a 1999 meeting of the
Anthony retired teachers group at Dos Lagos. You were the speaker for
the event but Patsy was elated to have three of you who were her
principals present. Ted Allen, on the left was at Eddly elementary in
Carlsbad and Tom Estes, on the right, was principal at Anthony
elementary. Your presence that day made it so special for both of us.
Happy Birthday with the love that all of us have ever known you have
