Happy, Happy Birthday Mr. Taylor!! Purita and I will be thinking of you as you celebrate your latest milestone! New Mexico is so blessed to have had you as one of its native sons, who worked so tirelessly as an educator, administrator, senator, and culture preservationist. You truly are a rare gem of a person – and I’ve been lucky to have known you nearly all my life.
Thank you also for the “tour” of your house/museum that you gave to Purita and me a few years ago. Fascinating! Do you remember the ammonium dichromate “volcano” that I made for Mrs. Sweem’s class in 1960? That was a blast! No doubt nowadays I would get into serious trouble for bringing such chemicals to school, LOL.
Thank you Mr. Taylor for your kindness, thoughtfulness, wisdom, organizational ability, integrity, and genuineness. You truly are one of a kind. May God continue to bless you abundantly, and may your light continue to shine for years to come. Congratulations once again on attaining your first century!! Much love to you!! Hope we’ll be able to see you soon!!
(P.S. And thank you also to Rosemary for bringing your celebration and this site to our attention!)
