We are so lucky that you are celebrating your 100th year because it means we have all had the benefit of your kind presence and fierce advocacy for a very long time. I know you will not want all of the hullabaloo that is surely to come. But you have earned every expression of appreciation and love. I am grateful for what you have meant in my life. Your belief in me and your example in the world continue to inspire me. Thank you for everything. Happy Birthday and much love from California.
